Campbell's Reduced Sodium Soup Success

After past failures to create the “healthy soup” attempts which means it needs to have 480 mg or less in the mid-1980s, Campbell Soup Co. finally succeeded last year. Campbell Soup Co.’s soups with 25% less sodium hit $101 million sales in 2007 (excluding vending machines, convenience stores and Wal-Mart), the most successful new-product launch to hit grocery shelves last year.
Toyota Launches Campaign on YouTube
Toyota is paying $4 million for its 2009 Corolla sedan advertising on YouTube the most expensive campaign ever to be launched. Despite the advertising part there is a new “Best in Jest” in which it will feature up-and-coming comedy video in that section each week. Toyota is also sponsoring “Sketchies” where users can win up to $25,000 by submitting their funny videos. This all aligns with Toyota ’s wishes for something that will interact with the users instead of just be viewed by the users. Due to the amount of time and manpower it involves it’s not the most effective way for generating the revenue.
Enjoy the commercial and don't forget the "Sketchies" after the commercial.

Malaysia: 89 Years Old Women Run Campaign for Election

Maimum Yusof, an 89 years old Malaysian grandmother is promoting herself online to reach voters. Supporters have helped her create a Facebook profile along with a blog. The general election in Malaysia will be held on March 8. If elected she says, “I will make it all better.” As she is upset when young people turn to drugs and that there are a lack of schools.
On her unusual campaign she said, “Alhamduillah (Thank God), I am happy. I hope it can serve as an example to younger people. They just sit and complain and since no one I knew was willing to fight, I decided that I had to be the one to do it.”
Currently she had run her campaign from her savings in which she used 20,000 ringgit (6,319 USD).

“Frickin’” is a “Euphemism for Fornication?”
Living in Canada, I personally haven't seen the ad or heard of Sheetz Inc. But apparently during February the company's new marketing campign "Crispy Frickin' Chicken" gave themselves more publicity, at least know I know they exist. The campaign consist of 100 billboards that were display in Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.

The issue arise in Pennsylvania, a street preacher Michael Sucec and his wife Sheri felt offended by the billboard advertisement of Sheetz's new Crispy Frickin' Chicken sandwhich. "Sucec describes the word "frickin'" as a "euphemism for fornication," devoid of any humor when paired with "chicken" as a rhyme and intensifier." Sheetz, still kept the campaign running until the schedule end date, but had one billboard removed in Hazle Township, after local officials fielded complaints.
So what are your thoughts? I'll have you judge wheather “Frickin’” is a “Euphemism for Fornication?”
